Hey Friends! Recently I mentioned that I started jotting down some encouraging notes on the girls’ school worksheets. In this post I shared some of the encouraging quotes that I use. Today I am going to share with you some encouraging Bible verses that I plan to use this upcoming year. As a reminder, I always include these quotes BEFORE the school year begins. That way they are already there, even on days when I don’t feel very encouraging. These could also be put in special places for your children to find them throughout their day.
1). But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. -Isaiah 40:31
2). Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. -Philippians 4:8
3). Whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. -1 Corinthians 10:31
4). Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. -Matthew 7:7
5). Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. -1 John 4:4
6). When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. -Isaiah 43:2.
7). Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. -Joshua 1:9
8). Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. -Proverbs 3:5,6
9). These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. -John 16:33
10). But by the grace of God, I am what I am; and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God, which was with me. -1 Corinthians 15:10
Once again, the last one is for us moms. This is one of my favorite verses of all times in reference to homeschooling. You can read an old post about it here.
So that’s it, some of the verses of encouragement that I plan to use this year! I hope that they bless you and your student in some way. Do you use notes on your children’s school work? If so please chime in and share your ideas with me!
